Plumb Bobs

A plumb-bob or a plummet is a weight, usually with a pointed tip on the bottom, that is suspended from a string and used as a vertical reference line, or plumb-line. It is essentially the vertical equivalent of a “water level”.

The PTA plumb bob is manufactured from corrosion resistant, chrome plated steel with removable brass cap for easy and accurate string installation. Weight is 8 oz.

Drift Punches

Ideal for aligning bolt or rivet holes prior to inserting a fastener between two or more pieces of metal.

The tapered end of a drift punch is placed into the semi-aligned bolt holes of two separate components, and then driven into the hole.

As it is driven in, the taper forces the two components into alignment, allowing for easy insertion of the fastener.
