Type 27 Cutting Wheels
Ultra-Grind Type 27 Cutting Wheels offer fast metal removal, cutting action and longer life than thinner cut-off wheels. Ultra-Grind and Ultra-Chop stainless steel wheels are iron, chlorine and sulphur free, for contamination free grinding and cutting.
These wheels are thicker than thin-type type 27 wheels and can be used for:
- Wheels 3/32″ or 1/8″ thick are used for cutting
- Wheels 5/32″ are used for pipeline applications, such as cutting, light grinding or root passes
Stainless wheels can be used on steel for more aggressive cutting and cooler grinding action. This action will contaminate the wheel, and must not be reused on stainless steel material again during its lifetime.
Always grind or cut using a guard and appropriate protection equipment and protocols.
